Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hi! We’re Kyle and Desiree — your hosts at Big Fun Stays TX. We’re proud parents of two young kids and passionate travelers who love creating memories with family and friends. Some of our best moments have come from adventures together, and we’ve hand-selected, designed, and cared for each of our properties to help you and your loved ones make those same lasting memories.

 

We’re local to Austin (where we live just minutes from our two city homes) and we spend lots of time vacationing at Canyon Lake. Because we don’t love the impersonal feel of big hotels or corporately managed rentals, our mission is to provide a personal, welcoming experience. We’re always available to our guests — as much or as little as you’d like — so you can enjoy your stay your way.

 

As a young family, we’ve designed our properties with both families and groups of friends in mind. Over the years, we’ve hosted hundreds of guests, and we’re constantly upgrading and improving our homes so each stay is even better than the last.

What are you check in and check out times?
Check in is 4 PM and check out is 11 AM.
Do you allow early check in?
We do our best to accommodate early check-ins whenever possible! Availability depends on whether the property is booked the night before and how much time our cleaning team needs to prepare for your stay. The best way to find out is to reach out a couple of days before your arrival, and we’ll let you know what options we can offer.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes, we offer on-site parking facilities, making it convenient and hassle-free for you to park your vehicle and have peace of mind throughout your vacation. No need to worry about finding a parking spot!
What amenities are provided in the rental?
Our rental properties are equipped with a wide range of amenities to enhance your stay. You can expect amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and in-unit laundry facilities. Beautiful comfortable home for a big family. Plenty of games both outside and inside for the children. Beds are comfortable. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen. We hosted a bachelor party here and could not have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless from the moment we arrived — clearly well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Kyle was great. Communication was fast and responsive throughout the entire trip, from booking questions to a quick check-in day message. They went above and beyond in every sense — extra amenities were stocked and ready for us, and they were incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out, which made coordinating a group so much easier. Austin is the perfect bachelor party city, and having a host this accommodating made the whole trip stress-free. We never had to worry about a thing.
